The Challenge
Following the merger, Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) needed to consolidate its radiology archives into a centralized system using Fuji PACS while migrating data from various PACS vendors, including Agfa, Merge, GE, and Philips. This extensive consolidation ensured a streamlined and unified approach to radiology data management. Additionally, HMH required a method to incorporate Cardiology PACS into a centralized archive, and InsiteOne collaborated with HMH to develop a more comprehensive centralized data management strategy.
The Solution
InsiteOne provided Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) with a consistent and measurable fee structure for storing all imaging data. By leveraging bi-coastal private data centers, HMH benefits from robust data storage solutions that ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities. Currently, the volume of studies being archived is an impressive 2.5 million per year, originating from a wide array of departmental systems, including Radiology PACS, Cardiology PACS, and Surgical Pathology.
